About chsa
LEADING THROUGH SERVICE, GROWING THROUGH COMMUNITY.
The Collegiate Health & Service Association (CHSA) at UNC Charlotte is a healthcare-based club that revolves around philanthropy, academia, mentorship, and community.

what we do
The Collegiate Health and Service Association is a student organization dedicated to helping students explore careers in healthcare while making a meaningful impact in the community. Our mission is built around four pillars: growth, community, service, and awareness. We provide opportunities for members to develop professionally, connect with other students interested in healthcare, participate in service initiatives that support our community, and promote health education and awareness on campus. Through events like professional panels, volunteer opportunities, and educational programming, we aim to prepare and inspire the next generation of healthcare leaders.
The purpose of the CHSA is to:
1. Support and empower students pursuing a career in nursing, public health, exercise
science, and health science/services.
2. Focus on educating the youth about careers in healthcare through workshops &
presentations.
3. Build a community of mentorship and professional development among nursing,
public health, exercise science, and health science/services students.
4. Advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion within the health system profession.
5. Organize and host events that promote professional development, such as guest
speakers, workshops, and study groups for club members.
6. Organize service events to help pre-health majors gain the experience and required
hours to apply to their Upper Division.
